My Harley Quinn Outfit

I know that you can get just about anything in Second Life.

I really wanted a Harley Quinn Outfit so I went looking but there wasn’t much available in world that I could find.

SL Marketplace was my next choice even though I had a couple of demos from different stores I came across one outfit that seemed to be what I wanted for only 199 Linden I grabbed a demo and went home to compare it to the others.

This one really stood out because not only was it very reasonably priced it really did have everything with the exception of the makeup.

I purchased the outfit and decided to tweak my look a little: 

There is mesh hair included but I decided to wear Harleen Hair from A&A because it is flexi mesh which I prefer most of the time. 

Someone from the LAQ Group in SL recommended  that I try SlackGirl and to check out their group gifts. 

I found a Harley Omega Applier there that had a few makeup options. 

I only used the eyeshadow even though the lips are good too just a little bloody for this particular look so I used lips from LAQ.

That was my Harley Quinn Outfit experience and I thought that I’d share it with all of you. 

Maybe you want a Halloween costume or just for something different.

I began my journey in Second Life on December the 14th in 2009. 

The movie Avatar was the inspiration behind my name in SL.

Pandora is my creation and an extension of my real life self.

I am not in SL to portray a specific character I am just me. 

I do not hide behind my avatar. 

I am living my life through her.

No Voice: For close friends only.

No Cam: It destroys the SL fantasy.

I love the visual of virtual …

In Second Life I enjoy shopping and exploring as well as meeting new people.

However in real life I am pretty much a homebody and I keep to myself.

I like being creative in both writing and photo manipulation using GIMP.

Second Life is just another way in which I can express myself.

Meddling With Mesh

I recently logged back into Second Life after a break that lasted for over a year and a half … okay I admit it … I deleted my account which was a really stupid move but my real life was one big  mess at the time and I just never thought that I would get back on the grid.

After submitting several tickets Linden Lab restored my account(s) and all is well again in the world of Second Life … except for MESH.

Now for those of you who have already converted over to Mesh this article may not seem relevant but for me and my Classic Avatar everything has relevance.

Don’t get me wrong … I like the way my Avi looks and I have spent both a lot of Lindens and effort to make her as original as possible.

Curiosity did get the better of me after a few days of SL window shopping so I decided to check out the Mesh situation for myself.

Firstly I made landmarks EVERYWHERE then I spent another day Demo shopping … my shops of choice were LAQ and Maitreya and EMOtions to name a few.

I also joined a few groups and took advantage of the gifts that were on offer … 

I made a folder for all of these items so that I wouldn’t forget where I had put them or rather where my inventory had decided to place them.

My next step will be to pay a visit to the closest sand box to do some unpacking and sorting and then back to my home base to try all of my demo items.

Home is a simple room with a bed and nothing more … 

the cost is only Ten Lindens a week but it’s somewhere to park my avi … for now. 

I feel like a newbie again.
